Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Download Clarity from the App Store and open the app. You can create an account using your email address or sign in with Apple. The onboarding process will guide you through setting up your profile and goals.
Is Clarity free?
Clarity offers a free tier with basic tracking features. For unlimited access to the AI coach, advanced insights, and premium features, we offer affordable subscription plans. You can try premium features free for 7 days.
Using the App
How does the AI coach work?
Our AI coach is trained on medical literature and recovery best practices. It provides personalized responses based on your specific situation, offers coping strategies when you're struggling, and celebrates your wins. It's available 24/7 - just tap the chat icon to start a conversation.
Can I use Clarity offline?
Basic tracking features work offline, and your data will sync when you reconnect. The AI coach requires an internet connection to function.
How do I log a slip or relapse?
Tap the streak counter on the home screen and select "Reset Streak." The app will guide you through a brief reflection without judgment. Remember: recovery isn't always linear, and every day is a new opportunity.
Account & Subscription
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings on your iPhone > tap your name > Subscriptions > select Clarity > Cancel Subscription. Your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account in the app: Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers within 30 days. See our account deletion page for detailed instructions.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly.
Privacy & Data
Is my journal private?
Yes. Your journal entries are encrypted and private. We never share your personal content with third parties or use it for advertising. Only you can see your journal entries.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings > Export Data to download a copy of your progress history and journal entries. Your data belongs to you.
Technical Issues
The app is crashing or not working properly
Try these steps:
- Make sure you have the latest version of Clarity from the App Store
- Restart the app by closing it completely and reopening
- Restart your device
- If the issue persists, email us with details about what's happening
My streak or data seems incorrect
If your data appears incorrect, please contact us with screenshots and details. We'll investigate and help resolve any issues.
